Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is ALISE?

ALISE (Aging Living Integrated Safety Escalation) is a 24/7 monitoring service that combines smart, discreet motion sensors with human oversight.

  • Our team receives alerts, reviews changes, and delivers daily reports.

  • Families, communities, and care providers get only meaningful insights, not raw data.

  • No cameras, microphones, wearables, or Wi-Fi are needed.

ALISE helps seniors live safely and independently, while giving peace of mind to the people who care for them.

How does ALISE work?

  1. Install Sensors – Discreet sensors are placed in key areas such as the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room.

  2. Learn Daily Patterns – The system recognizes each person’s normal routines, like sleep, bathroom visits, mobility, and meal activity.

  3. ALISE Oversight – When a change is detected (e.g., no morning activity, skipped meals, increased bathroom visits), ALISE receives the alert first.

  4. Escalation Plan – Our team reviews the event and follows your custom escalation plan — contacting a family member, staff, or calling 911 if needed.

Think of ALISE as an “early warning system” that helps prevent small changes from becoming big problems.

Can I cancel the service?

Yes. You can cancel ALISE anytime with 30 days’ written notice.

  • No contracts.

  • No long-term commitment.

  • Just simple, flexible peace of mind.

Who gets notified if something is wrong?

When you start with ALISE, we create a custom escalation plan with you. You decide who gets alerted, in what order, and under what circumstances.

Examples of escalation steps:

  1. Notify a family member.

  2. Alert a nurse, caregiver, or community staff.

  3. Call 911 if urgent.

ALISE manages this process so the right people are contacted at the right time — without overwhelming families or staff.

Our team reviews the data and highlights early warning signs before they become emergencies.

Is ALISE a medical service?

No. ALISE is not a healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care.
Instead, ALISE provides non-clinical monitoring, alerts, and reporting to families, caregivers, and communities — so they can act quickly when needed
.

  • Plug-and-play

  • Backed by human oversight – our team reviews every alert before escalating.

  • Service-based, not just technology – we deliver insights, not raw data.

  • Assisted living and memory care communities

  • Post-hospital recovery for short-term support

  • PACE programs and managed care plans

  • Home care providers seeking extra oversight without adding staff
