What is ALISE?
ALISE (At-Home Living Integrated Safety Escalation) is a private, sensor-based system that helps keep your loved ones safe at home—without cameras, microphones, or wearables. It learns daily routines and sends alerts if something seems off, like a fall or long inactivity. Easy to use, ALISE gives families peace of mind while supporting independence.

How does it work?

Small motion sensors are placed in important areas of the home. They learn the person’s usual daily habits. If something seems wrong—like a fall or no movement for a long time—our system sends an alert. A real person checks the alert and takes action if needed.

Is this a medical service?

ALISE is not a medical service. We don’t give medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. Instead, we provide non-clinical monitoring, alert families if something seems wrong, and help take the next steps when there’s an emergency.

Who is notified in the event of a problem?

Your ALISE system follows a family-defined escalation protocol: at setup we work with you to define exactly who to alert—and in what order—for any potential concern. Change it anytime through your dashboard.”

  • We may call 911

  • Notify a designated family member

  • Alert the on-site staff (if in a community)

You decide the order and contacts when setting up the service.

FAQs

Does it require Wi-Fi?
No Wi-Fi needed. Every ALISE system comes with its own secure cellular router, so it doesn’t rely on your home internet. This makes setup easy and keeps monitoring working—even if your Wi-Fi goes out or isn’t reliable.

Are there cameras or microphones?

No. The system only uses motion sensors—there are no cameras, no microphones, and nothing to wear. It’s fully private and won’t get in the way.

What happens if the power or Wi-Fi goes out?
Because ALISE uses cellular data, it doesn’t depend on your home Wi-Fi. If the power goes out, the sensors and router have backup batteries and will keep working for a short time. If the system ever loses connection, you’ll get an alert—and once power is back, it starts monitoring again automatically.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your ALISE System

  • Keep contact info updated. Let us know right away if phone numbers or emergency contacts change. That way, alerts always go to the right people.

  • Watch for alerts. You’ll get alerts by text or email—whichever you picked during setup. Make sure to check your phone or email regularly.

  • No Wi-Fi needed—but keep power on. ALISE runs on a secure cellular connection, not your home internet. Just make sure the power stays on so the sensors work.

  • Tell us about any move or hospital stay. If your loved one moves or goes to the hospital, let us know. We can pause or adjust the system for free.

  • ALISE works with hands-on care. ALISE adds safety and peace of mind, but it doesn’t replace regular visits, caregiving, or medical help.
